European Removals

If you are thinking about or planning a European removal, then our estimators here can offer you excellent advice concerning all aspects of your removals.

With vehicles regularly going to Europe within our Britannia network, we can offer competitive rates and an excellent service that meets your requirements.

If you're not quite ready for your goods to be delivered, then we can either store them here in the UK, or we have depots abroad that can accommodate all of your effects until you are ready for them.

Being part of Britannia, we can offer part loads to try and help keep your costs down. It means that we can take your goods with other people's goods going to an area that is near where you are going.

International Removals

Are you considering shipping a full house of effects or just a box of personal effects, then we can take care of your effects from collection to delivery for you.

Our fully trained estimators and office staff can help you with your requirements for shipment.

We can arrange a survey with you, where a full inventory of goods will be taken and we can then advise you on whether you have enough goods to fill a container or whether your goods can go as a groupage consignment.

We can also advise you on items you can and cannot take with you and supply you with full "Fidi" documents for your information.

If you're thinking of taking your family pets with you, we can also supply information on how to do this.

If you have enough goods to fill a container, then we can pack, wrap, and prepare your goods for shipment, supply a detailed inventory for customs and insurance purposes and arrange the container to either come to your house to load or the goods can be brought back here to be loaded, depending on your requirements and timescale.

If you only have one item that you wish to send, we can collect it from you and bring it back to our warehouse, where we will wrap and protect it, prepare a detailed inventory for shipment, then it will be taken to our consolidation warehouse for onward delivery as a groupage service, this means it will be placed in a 20ft container with other people's goods and shipped once the container is full.

We also ship cars and motorbikes and we can supply the new dangerous goods notes to go with your shipment so that you do not have to drain the fuel and disconnect the battery.

It is worth remembering that the Cubic Capacity stated is the maximum, when loading household goods and personal effects allow 10% reduction in capacity.

Transit Times

How long will it take?

When planning an international move, most of our customers are keen to know how long it will take the consignment to reach its destination.

The following is an outline of typical transit times.

Transit times are typical however shipping lines do alter schedules from time to time without prior notice. Also it is worth noting that transit times can be effected by economic fluctuations, adverse weather conditions.

For most ports there are several weekly sailings and the transit times and costs will vary. We will be able to match the correct sailing to your budget and time constraints.
